On December 8, the Amarillo Sod Poodles and Dubs faced off in a thrilling encounter. The Sod Poodles, showcasing their tenacity, clinched a resounding 11-5 victory over the Dubs. But the Dubs weren’t down for long; they bounced back in a nail-biting rematch, edging out the Sod Poodles 7-5, showcasing the unpredictability of this league.

The Crazy Trains and Carolina Disco Turkeys also gave us a double dose of drama. Their first showdown was a razor-thin affair, with the Disco Turkeys dancing to a 5-4 victory. But in their second encounter, the Disco Turkeys upped their game, grooving to an 8-5 win, proving their dominance on the dance floor of competition.

In a display of sheer power, the Retired Bananas squashed the Chico Bail Bonds 10-2 in a one-sided affair. But in a twist of fate, their second meeting was a high-scoring bonanza, with the Retired Bananas narrowly escaping with a 17-12 victory, solidifying their reputation as a force to be reckoned with.

The Elite Sluggers lived up to their name, demolishing Never Give Up 17-4 in a powerhouse performance marked as a ‘P’ for its sheer dominance. However, in a stunning reversal, Never Give Up lived up to their moniker, making an incredible comeback to triumph 9-5 in their second match, a testament to the unpredictability and excitement of the sport.

The Green Monsters unleashed their might in a lopsided 12-1 victory over The Dino Nuggies. But in another twist, The Dino Nuggies roared back in their second game, clawing their way to a 6-4 win, proving that in this league, every team has a fighting chance.

Lastly, the Swamp Donkeys and 3 Wild & Crazy Guys put on a spectacular show. Their first encounter was a close call, with the Swamp Donkeys just edging it 8-7. But the 3 Wild & Crazy Guys turned the tables in the rematch, claiming a 12-7 victory, showcasing the sheer competitiveness and unpredictability of the league.
